Tanger Outlets opened its newest North Carolina facility in Mebane on November 4, 2010 and Classic was there through each event during the weekend-long celebration. We kicked off the event at the Preview Charity Gala on Thursday night. It was a night full of high fashion & fun complete with a red carpet entrance for all guests, including local government officials, Tanger executives and loyal shoppers. During the event, guests were seated under two 50’x100’ clear top tents, adorned with fabric draping & crystal chandeliers that added to the stylish atmosphere. Classic provided a runway stage for models to display the latest trends that could be purchased at many of the Tanger stores & a dance floor that accented the live music that played throughout the evening. In addition to the main runway under the tent, Classic setup satellite stages throughout the shopping center for fashion events that showcased several stores including Saks off Fifth, Coach and Michael Kors. At the end of the preview event, Classic’s team worked through the night to flip the tent for the next day’s functions. On Friday, the tent was divided to host a ribbon cutting ceremony on one side & a luncheon on the other. Classic’s linens & chairs continued to provide the atmosphere of fun & fashion throughout the day on Friday. The red carpet was rolled out again for North Carolina governor Bev Perdue & celebrity MC Stacy London, from TLC’s “What Not to Wear” who were there for the opening ceremonies. The weekend’s events ended with a “Stylish Sounds” concert from country music star Sara Evans. Classic provided her performance stage & offered concert VIP’s a chic place to lounge under a fabric-draped tent with white leather furniture & an autographing area for fans to stop by. Classic was proud to be part of such a tremendous event in our area!
